Audi Sport TT Cup on MOTORVISION TV

With the launch of a dedicated one-make racing series for its TT model in 2015, German carmaker Audi provides a new opportunity for young aspiring drivers to enter the motorsports world and win support in the brand’s GT3 sports car program. The Audi Sport TT Cup features seven events with two races each. With the exception of the second event, which is held alongside the famous Nürburgring 24 Hours, events take place together with the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM).

Audi Sport prepares and fields all 24 participating racing-models of the Audi TT. The body shell of each car consists of aluminum and carbon fibre, which results in a weight of only 1,125 kilograms. Its 310 h two-liter four-cylinder TFSI stems from the production car with only the crankcase ventilation being changed to account for the higher centrifugal forces during the races.

While 20 cockpits are permanently awarded, four cockpits are filled by changing guest drivers. The winner of the new Audi Sport TT Cup can look forward to receiving support in Audi’s successful GT3 sports car program.
