Range Rover Sport Dragon Challenge: First Car to Climb to China’s Heaven’s Gate

Recording a world-first, Jaguar Racing’s Formula E driver Ho-Pin Tung has become the first man ever, to drive a vehicle up to Heaven’s Gate in China.

The record, set in the all-new Range Rover Sport PHEV, saw Ho-Pin tackle a dazzling 99 turns and 999 daunting steps, at one of China’s most famous landmarks. The Dragon Challenge began at the bottom of the legendary 11.3km Tianmen Mountain Road (known as the Dragon Road) and showcased the car’s capabilities in tackling all terrains.
